Ford starts the production of the new 2015 Ford F-150

850 employees and 500 Robots have joined the already existing team of 4000 members to ensure the production of the new 2015 F-150 model. Ford have started the production of this new model at its Rogue factory in Dearborn, Michigan. The preparation for the start were being made for months which includes the increase in the team strength. The model will also be produced at Ford’s other unit at Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri. This plant will enter the production from the first quarter of the next year.

The new model is being acclaimed as the most efficient F-150 ever for its massive improvements in weight saving and the advanced engine technology. The truck which can carry upto 1100 Lbs and haul upto 530 more Lbs will have an improved fuel economy than the existing versions. It has a high strength military grade aluminium alloy body and bed.

The Rogue factory will be seen in future as the birth place of the first mass produced truck of the class. Together both the plants will have the capacity of producing 700,000 truck per year which will be available in 90 markets across the globe.
