Nissan enhances the Navara for 2015

The popular pickup truck ‘Navara’ was first introduced by Japanese auto manufacturer Nissan in 1997. It is sold under different names in different markets. The ‘Navara’ actually consists of multiple generations of two versions- the compact sized D22 and the mid-sized truck D40. Since its launch, the model has been quite successful. At the recently held Commercial Vehicle Show in Germany’s Hannover, Nissan announced that some vital modifications will added to the current generation of the Navara for the 2015 model year. The Japanese vehicle will have new metallic shades as body colors, and also newly designed 17-inch stylish alloy wheels (standard feature). There two trim versions, the SE and the LE.

The ‘Navara SE’ variant will be fitted with the Vehicle Dynamic Control system as a standard feature. Nissan’s Chief Marketing Manager of the LCV division , Sebastien Viet feels that the addition of the VDC will work as a great bonus for all Navara owners. The SE trim also comes with more premium equipment like- chrome based front grille, side airbags, cruise control with function of speed limiter, adjustable driver seat, central locking, powerful fog lamps, headrests for rear passengers and door mirrors with heating.

The latest Nissan Navara SE will draw power from a popular 2.5-liter engine that produces 144 hp.
